Test before you treat

Always test your water before adding treatments, so you know what you are correcting. See pond water test kits.

Dosing safely

Measure your pond volume accurately and follow the label dose. Change pH gradually, as sudden swings stress fish more than a slightly-off reading. Keep your pump and aeration running while treating.
